Shipping & Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched within 4 to 5 business days of placing the order.
Once dispatched, delivery takes 3 to 8 working days.
Deliveries to remote or low coverage areas may take 10 to 15 working days.
Delivery Coverage
We deliver to all postal addresses across India.
Please ensure your shipping address includes the full street name and correct PIN code.
Postal delays due to incomplete addresses are not the responsibility of The Madras Kadai.
Orders to Institutions (Schools, Colleges, Hostels)
Orders sent to institutions are at the customer’s own risk.
If the package is refused by the institution or not accepted by the warden, no refunds or credits will be issued.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Courier companies charge penalties for mismatched or incorrect PIN codes.
These penalties will be borne by the customer only.
If reshipment is required due to address issues, re-shipping charges must be paid by the customer.
The Madras Kadai is not responsible for lost or misplaced parcels due to incorrect or incomplete addresses and will not issue refunds in such cases.
Tampered or Wrong Delivery Issues
We use third-party courier services for all deliveries and have no control over their internal policies.
If the parcel appears tampered, kindly refuse delivery.
Please record a video while opening the package to document any wrong or missing items.
Non-Delivery or Dispute Resolution
If your parcel is marked as delivered but not received, report the issue within 24 hours of the delivery message.
We will obtain and share the Proof of Delivery (POD) from the courier service.
If the customer disputes the POD, we can only assist in raising the issue with the courier company.
Replacements will be made only if the courier confirms the parcel was lost and not delivered.
